Felix Huettenbach is a founder, investor, adventurer and YouTuber. In his 30 years on earth he has achieved excellence in multiple fields. But he is completely honest about the grit, sacrifice and discipline his success has required.
Felix Huettenbach, born on August 31, 1993, in Germany, is the founder of W8X (established in 2017) and Sameday Health (2020). From 2018 to 2020, he held the position of Guest Lecturer and Global Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
Felix pursued his education at various renowned institutions. He attended the Technical University of Munich from 2012 to 2015, graduating with a B.A.Sc. degree in Applied Science and Technology Management. In 2016, he enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on General/Multidisciplinary Studies. Later, Felix was accepted into the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he completed a graduate program in Entrepreneurial Studies from 2017 to 2018.
Prior to founding his own companies, Felix gained valuable experience in different roles. He served as the Managing Partner of SMEXY between 2012 and 2015, working in the Business Development team for the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. Specifically, he specialized in developing market entry strategies for German technology companies looking to expand their business in the US.
From 2016 to 2017, Felix worked as a member of the Investment Team at Aurelius Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA. In this position, he collaborated closely with consulting companies to conduct commercial and financial due diligence. He conducted comprehensive market research, analyzed competition and trends in various industries, and contributed to the conception of indicative company valuations and transaction structuring. Felix also played a role in the elaboration and preparation of project-related financial models.
Additionally, Felix served as the Chief of Staff for Quantgene, a platform that utilizes advanced machine learning to detect the ten deadliest cancers at early stages using standard blood samples.
